The Kansas City Chiefs traveled to Atlanta to face the Falcons on "Sunday Night Football." Following the 22-17 victory for the Chiefs, KC head coach Andy Reid shared a moment with Falcons head coach Raheem Morris in the middle of the field.
Morris and Reid shared a quick conversation after the game, surrounded by cameras that captured the handshake between the two veteran coaches.
One of the cameras caught Morris' message to Reid. The Falcons coach gave credit to Reid for being a tough opponent.
"You're tough to deal with," Morris said.
With the loss, Morris and the Falcons moved to 1-2 on the season.
Both defenses played a hard-fought game, but Kansas City's offense simply overpowered the Falcons.
The Chiefs offense took over in Atlanta. They had 345 total offensive yards to the Falcons' 311 yards, 22 first down conversions to Atlanta's 19, and finished the game with a near 10-minute advantage in terms of time of possession.
Kansas City was led by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who posted two touchdowns and 217 passing yards and his No. 1 wide receiver in Rashee Rice who recorded one touchdown and 110 yards on 12 receptions.
Morris' reaction to Kansas City's skill set on both sides of the ball is similar to the rest of the NFL. The Chiefs have been running the table for the past few years, earning Super Bowl victories in 2020, 2023 and 2024.
Kansas City seems to be on the right path for a three-peat in 2025 after starting the season 3-0 with wins against the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and Falcons.
