Now open: The Cornbread Café
Location: 1101 Church St.
Hours: Wednesday - Saturday, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
On Oct. 23, The Cornbread Café opened its doors on Church Street. The restaurant specializes in "Southern flavors with a bistro twist," including dishes like the "Country Cobb" salad with black-eyed peas, "Southern Etoufee" and "Fried Green BLT" sandwich.
Now open: Tiffany's Specialty Coffee
Location: 9704 Two Notch Road
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
In the wake of closing its restaurant operations, 47-year-old Tiffany's Eats, Sweets and Meeting Place announced the opening of Tiffany's Specialty Coffee, which is housed in the Tiffany's property, on Oct. 15. The shop functions with a build-your-own coffee model, where guests can choose between hot, iced and blended concoctions of dessert-flavored lattes, cold brews and decaf cups. Their claim to fame? "Tiffany's Specialty Coffee" -- a blend that includes one of their signature petits fours.
Now open: Hyderabad House
Location: 1704 Bush River Road
Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.; Friday - Saturday, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Formerly home to 7 Spices Indian Cuisine and Bar, South Indian restaurant chain Hyderabad House has taken over the restaurant space on Bush River Road. While their "featured items" include garlic naan and butter masala, the restaurant is most notorious for its selection of "Bucket Biryani" -- rice dishes filled with everything from shrimp fry to chicken dum.
Closed and relocating: Robinson Room
New location: Main Street, to be announced

On Oct. 20, cocktail and tapas bar Robinson Room had its last day of business in its previous 1614 Main Street location. While their owning group, LTC Hospitality Services, has not yet announced a new opening location or date, they announced on Instagram that it will occupy "a new address on Main Street as part of our commitment to bringing you elevated and unforgettable dining experiences.
