Watch: Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey sets record for 50-plus yard FG makes in a single season

Aubrey has hit 14 field goals from 50-plus yards out, passing Houston's Ka'imi Fairbairn for the league's top spot.

When it comes to long-range field goals, Brandon Aubrey is as accurate as they come.

The Cowboys kicker proved that Sunday against Tampa Bay, taking over as the league's leader for 50-plus yard field goal makes (14) during the 2024 season. The new mark is also an NFL single-season record. Aubrey came into the game with 11 makes from 50-plus, catching up to Houston's Ka'imi Fairbairn in the first half.

Aubrey hit a 53-yarder during the third quarter against the Bucs to take the top spot from Fairbairn. He also hit from 58, twice, and from 49 in the first half.

For the season, Aubrey has gone 14-for-16 from 50-plus. His longest make of the year came from 65 yards out during a Week 3 meeting with the Baltimore Ravens.
