BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) -- The vice-presidential debate is set for Tuesday night on CBS.
Political analyst John Dedie joined FOX45 Morning News to weigh in on the candidates' expectations.
"Most Americans don't know who either of these guys are, and this gives them a chance to introduce themselves," Dedie said.
He continued, saying that vice presidential candidates serve as "attack dogs," while taking shots at the presidential candidates.
"People still will vote on who the presidential candidate is," he said.
Walz will probably focus on abortion rights, while Vance is going to focus on the border, Dedie said.
The goals for the running mates include "driving up their base," Dedie said.
