Nebraska State Patrol troopers are urging drivers to move over and slow down. On Tuesday, a trooper clocked a teenage driver at 119 miles per hour in a 65 zone on I-80. That's an average of 100 tickets per month. It's the most citations since keeping that kind of record. "People-- I just do not think, or they're not aware of how dangerous these excessive speeds are, especially now that we're going into those winter months," Trooper Clarissa Fitzgerald said. She added the speeding trend is statewide, not just in the Omaha metro or rural areas.
