This morning, Politico reported that Donald Trump and his team had been in discussions to have the former President attend an interview with The Shade Room between Election Day.
Vice President Kamala Harris recently did an interview with the outlet, which has an audience that is largely Black and young. According to Politico, Trump's team began to drag their feet at a time, making producers question whether he would attend the interview.
Shortly thereafter, Trump's team ended up pulling Trump from any interview request citing the fact that he was exhausted, but that he may change his mind between now and Election Day.
This report highlights a recent trend for Trump. In the past couple of weeks, Trump has cancelled multiple sit down interviews with major media networks including 60 Minutes, CBS News, and NBC News. In addition, Trump cancelled a scheduled rally with the NRA in Georgia, despite the fact that it would be a friendly crowd.
