Giving back to the community is easier than ever in Kansas City. For the fourth year, Light the World Giving Machines are back. Located in Union Station at 30 W. Pershing Road, the machine gives rows of choices, like a vending machine, except the choices aren't for candy bars but rather donations.People can purchase cards representing things like school supplies, diapers, a week of groceries, utility assistance and more. Donations vary in price so that donors have options.Once you purchase your selection, that's all that's needed.
